How It Works
Your one-stop platform for finding help or earning money in your community
Initially, you must create an account with JobJay for requesting assistance. Once your account is set up, you may go to "Create Post" to give details on the work you need help with.
The details we require will be location of the work, a brief description of the task at hand, whether tools will be provided or even required, and lastly compensation offered.
Once you finish providing job details, you may post the job to an open forum for people to apply for it. Your other option is to receive a short list of local candidates for you to reach out to.
Responses to your job post, and candidate selections will appear under the "Conversations" tab. At the top of an open conversation will be a button to "Select [applicant] for this job". Clicking this button lets the candidate accept and finalize the selection process and close your job from other applicants.
The rest of the job itself is between you and the candidate selected. Job is completed at the agreed upon time, payment is made.
Once everything is finished, go back to your job post and mark it "Completed" this will open up the opportunity for both parties to review one another.
Create more jobs and do it all again!
Initially, you must create an account with JobJay as someone looking to work. You will need to provide contact info, operating radius and pay rates based on travel distance.
After you have made your account, you may await notifications in your email for having been selected as a job candidate by someone requesting help. You may also look on the open job forum under "Search" to apply for jobs that no one has yet been selected for.
All jobs you've been requested for and that you have applied for will open direct contact with the one who posted the job. This will be accessible under the "conversations" tab.
Once an agreement has been reached, the job poster may select you for their job. You will then have the opportunity to accept and close the job from other applicants.
After acceptance, you are to complete the job, and receive payment.
When the job is marked "complete", both parties will have the opportunity to review one another.
